The Robin Hood crew was out in force at Southwell racecourse on Thursday night to cheer on our lovely mare.
Poster was dropped in at the back of the 13 runners and at the 2 furlong pole still had 9 horses in front of her and very little room to manoeuvre then having to switch to the stands side she powered home to finish 4th beaten just over 1 length.
Jockey Jack Mitchell said that she was one of the gamest mares that he had ever sat on and who could disagree after such a gutsy effort.
It is surely only a matter of time before she sets foot in the winners enclosure.
The yard continue to be in fine form with another winner the next day at Newcastle where Hart Fell won at the 11th time of asking.
It was a heart-warming victory for a horse that had been beset with breathing problems and a much-deserved reward for the loyalty and perseverance of owners Tony and Kim.
