Kath’s Toyboy best know to his owners as Boycie continues to be in the form of his life after another gallant display finishing 3rd carrying top weight in a very competitive handicap at Thirsk on Friday afternoon.
We were all hoping that his new Robin Hood blinkers would bring him some luck and he clearly ran up to his new mark with an excellent performance under a great ride from his new partner David Nolan.
David was singing his praises after the race and it will be no surprise if he gets his head in front on grass in the near future.
Boycie is an incredibly versatile horse and has run well on all sorts of tracks and going clocking up an amazingly consistent record of having won or been placed in 20 of his 38 runs.
Described by our trainer Kevin as the perfect syndicate horse we can hardly wait for our flying grey’s next appearance.
There promises to be more fun in store for RH owners on Tuesday when Oscar (De La Hoya) runs at Southwell.
Oscar is an absolute character described by his trainer as a proper playboy however he is a firm favorite at the yard and a bright future beckons for this son of Tasleet.
Robin Hood owners will be out in force at our local track on Tuesday therefore please come and say hello.
