Frost on fire

Atacama Desert ‘s victory at York on Saturday was yet another winner from Kevin’s yard, which now has an incredible, strike rate of 18% this season with 15 winners from 84 runners.

There have been so many highlights some of my favorites being Kevin’s change of tactics which resulted in a 66/1 winner in Infiniti and initiated an incredible change of attitude and confidence in the 9 year old mare who then transferred her form onto the flat winning 4 times in her last 5 outings.

Kevin’s ability to keep older horses sweet and enthusiastic is truly amazing, another example being the 9-year-old Documenting who recently won at Newbury for 9th time in his career and has now amassed  £168,000 in prize money, which is not bad for a horse that cost our trainer the princely sum of £1000.

Another example of the Frost effect was Millicent who won at the first time of asking for the yard having previously failing to trouble the judge in the past 14 outings.

Each time we go to the yard we cannot fail to be impressed by the care and attention given to the horses by Kevin and his friendly staff.

Robin Hood feel very grateful to have our beautiful mare Poster Child in such good hands and are all looking forward to her next run, which will be in the very near future.
