Boycie aka Kath’s Toyboy is now back in training after his summer break therefore it was great to visit the yard yesterday to watch him do a nice piece of work on the gallops in the capable hands of his work rider Julia.
Having spent the summer chilling out in Julia’s paddocks the two of them have become the best of pals and as a consequence Boycie has come back into the yard extremely happy and in a great frame of mind.
We are very much hoping that Boycie will continue to build on the progression shown since joining Kevin and we are very much looking forward to his campaign on the all weather and his first race back which is scheduled for early November.
A special mention for all the team at Danethorpe for making us all so welcome and in particular Julia who was so attentive and caring towards my young grandchildren who had come to spend time with Boycie.
