Oscar (stable name) was purchased on our behalf by our brilliant trainer Kevin Frost and we are hopeful that he will be making his racecourse debut in the early part of 2023.
Kevin really likes the look of him and early reports are that he is a nice compact horse with a good action and attitude which is really nice coming from a trainer who has such a fantastic record and a clear eye for a bargain demonstrated by his purchase of stable legend Documenting a horse purchased by Kevin for £1000 and still winning at the age of 9 amassing £179,000 in prize money.
Oscar’s sire Tasleet was a high-class sprinter winning over £650,000 in prize money and as first season sire has an impressive winning ratio of 36%.
This gem of a horse is named after the famous boxer Oscar De La Hoya who is ranked as the 38th best boxer pound for pound of all time
